About Derek Tenner

10 Years in a project engineering role specializing in petrochemical and refining processes with a focus in biofuels. The use of renewable products (i.e. tallow, soybean oil, vegetable oil, bleaching earth, etc) is a new emerging market that is spearheading a low-carbon emissions future by the production of biodiesel and biogasoline. My involvement with Diamond Green Diesel in Port Arthur, TX as a specialist in fixed equipment design and metallurgy selection has led to the largest grassroots renewable diesel plant nationwide. The integrated team at Richard EPC in collaboration with other firms will produce 35K BPD of biodiesel. This extensive experience has intensified my portfolio and passion into the biofuels sector at other large-scale facilities.
