Mr. McGarry has been working in the built environment for over 25 years, spanning roles as energy analyst, mechanical engineer, energy manager, commissioning provider and technology executive. He has spent the past 10 years focused on the development of Connected Commissioning and Automated Functional Testing technologies for commissioning providers. Derek has served on the local Boards of ASHRAE and USGBC. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer.
