With over 5 years of experience in the financial life insurance industry, I am a driven Finance Manager at Manulife. As a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), I am passionate about financial reporting and planning, profitability analysis, and optimizing processes and controls. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences into our team dynamics. My mission is to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial information and analysis to support the strategic decision-making and performance management of the organization. Within my current role, I manage the monthly financial results of Group Benefits across all product lines, while spearheading client profitability analysis for the corporate block of business. Through close collaboration with operational departments, I address identified issues during month-end closure and support financial reporting requests. My eagerness to continually learn new tools and techniques drives me to facilitate the optimization and streamlining of financial processes and controls. Some of the skills I use and develop in my role include financial management reporting, profitability analysis, managerial expertise, and process enhancement.
