   Founded in 2019, Derivative Mixology began as a creative bar consulting venture and has evolved into a hybrid beverage brand blending artistry, hospitality, and innovation. The company specializes in crafting elevated experiences across private, corporate, and luxury settings through mixology, beverage catering, and bar program design.Derivative Mixology has collaborated with renowned partners and venues throughout Pittsburgh and Denver, including Nemacolin Resort, where we delivered immersive mixology and elevated beverage experiences. Notable activations include a private fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Colorado hosted on a board member’s estate, a partnership feature with Cherry Creek Magazine, and high-profile events such as Whiskey Fest at Rivers Casino in collaboration with Bacardi USA and Patrón El Cielo.Derivative Mixology has consulted for multiple bar and restaurant concepts, including Last Resort in Toronto, Ohio, and Coal Run Craft in Homer City, Pennsylvania, to revamp and modernize their bar programs. We’ve also led opening projects such as Italian Village Trattoria in Fox Chapel, PA—designing the bar layout, cocktail program, and staff training—and restructured the beverage operations for Cosmo on Carson nightclub and lounge, overseeing events, artist management, and overall bar efficiency.In addition, Derivative Mixology partnered with local distilleries like Quantum Spirits and Lucky Sign Spirits to help establish their product identity, brand story, and presence within the craft spirits market.Rooted in creativity and elevated by intention, Derivative Mixology continues to redefine modern hospitality through experiences that engage the senses, tell a story, and leave a lasting impression.
