Before that, he co-founded GSD Venture Studios, serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2019 to 2022. At GSD, he built a system to recruit, fund, and scale technology companies globally, launching a cross-border accelerator to integrate early-stage founders into the firm\'s ecosystem.Earlier in his career, Mr. Distenfield was CEO of Cult Following Inc, a marketing and brand-building agency, and COO of 360 Payments, a $2 billion payment processing company. He also led growth and community engagement at Bunker Labs, Inc, where he expanded the organization’s national footprint and built a network of veteran-led startups.Mr. Distenfield served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, completing multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.He holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
