ABOUT DEREK CHUAH
I hold a Master\'s Degree in International Relations and have a passion for building cross-cultural understanding through education and diplomacy. I’m currently a Program Associate with the American Councils for International Education, primarily managing the East Asia Programs portfolio of Taiwan and Korea.I have experience informing and analyzing international political trends for a wide audience, having written articles analyzing Chinese economic policy, US-China relations, and also producing podcasts covering topics such as the role of international institutions in the conflict in Ukraine.My passion for IR stemmed from one fateful summer I spent studying abroad in Taiwan.
