About Derek Archer
Senior designer with 18+ years of experience in graphics, illustration, and brand focused design. I enjoy turning ideas into designs people connect with. Most of my background is in apparel graphics, but I enjoy working across different types of projects and industries.In my current role I work in a very self directed environment. I often develop the concept and take the work all the way through final art. I like owning projects from start to finish and making sure the work feels on brand and ready to produce. I am not a one lane designer. I draw, I design, and I like bringing new techniques and different media into the work when it helps the idea.Outside of work I run personal projects that I self direct. They keep me learning and growing and help me continue developing my creative voice. I am always looking to improve and expand my skills, and I am open to art director opportunities where I can help shape strong creative work and brands.
