PROFILE Architecture designs focus on utilizing global PaaS/IaaS foundational layers driven by DevOps tools such as virtualization, orchestration, and configuration management. Both services and API’s are built on a versioned Infrastructure-As-Code concept permitting continuous deployment and rapid testing cycles, ensuring consistency across all environments, embedding reliability and self-healing. Designs include multi-tier caching and Content Delivery Network (CDN) usage providing additional scale, security, and global Point-of-Presence, while guaranteeing highly available (HA), low-latency, and always-on user experiences. Add in advanced Event/Log Processing and monitoring tiers enabling company-wide data streams. This design approach allows service layers to be dynamically right-sized ensuring the most cost effective deployments, entrenching security in-depth emphasis while permitting rapid development cycles. Designs utilize Internet-scale/enterprise-grade technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), VMware® / OpenNebula stacks; Apache™ / Nginx technologies, Mod Security (mod_sec), Global Traffic Management (GTM), F5-BigIP®, JBOSS / WebLogic, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Ubuntu / RedHat / CentOS Linux, Oracle®, MySQL / MariaDB, Cassandra / MongoDB, Hadoop®, Kafka / Storm / Elastic Search / Zabbix event processing; GIT (GitHub), Jenkins, Chef PERSONAL STYLE Self-reliant and independent in thought and design with a preference to make self-supporting decisions. Will typically operate relatively free of peer pressures with a distinct ability to bypass conventional ideas and current practices to produce imaginative and innovative solutions.
