About Derek Harley
I\'m the kid in school who didn\'t find motivation by running down a court or field to win. My wins came from creative problem solving, literally. I was involved in Odyssey of the Mind (OM), now Destination Imagination (DI), from first grade until I graduated high school. lessons I learned from OM/DI taught me that there is always a solution to every problem, even if there are budget, time, and resource constraints. I\'ve used those lessons nearly every day as a leader and an Instructional Designer and a Learning Leader. We can\'t always add a new person to a team or get a new piece of software but we can learn to utilize what we have, better.
