Hi, I’m Derek! I’m currently a junior studying accounting at BYU working towards getting my master’s in accounting in 2028.Outside of school, I am a teacher’s assistant for Management Communications and Public Speaking, in the leadership for BYU’s Business & AI Society, and the founder of Strings of Service, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the uplifting of others through music and words.Finally, I enjoy spending time with family/friends, performing violin, learning new languages/cultures, and playing/watching sports.
