About Derek Stiefel
After graduating YTI in 2003, I started my career as a Draftsman at Code Plus Components which lead me into an Inside Sales position where I remained for 3.5 years. After a coincidental meeting, I was offered an APM position with Extreme Steel Inc. Since taking the leap from residential to commercial construction (wood to steel) on October 10th, 2007, I\'ve worked hard and learned as much as I possibly could in order to advance from an APM, to PM, to SPM and now to one of the three Executive Directors for ESI. While I am still involved in managing projects alongside other team members, I am also helping continue to further grow ESI into the DMV\'s leading Division 5 partner for the areas General Contractors.
