Maintaining our Tier 3 status by careful inspection, planning and reporting of potential issues.• Responsible for the availability of and capacity management of the power, space, cooling, footprint and PDU capacity. • Manage all electrical and mechanical infrastructure needs such as UPS systems alongside provider• Own the relationships with vendors, hosting providers, Circuit providers and any other 3rd party services • Manage Data Centre expansion and consolidation projects• Define policies, procedures, and standards related to performance, capacity, availability, continuity, and security• Manage the department budget, establishing financial and procurement controls• Maintain & update physical access procedures for the data centres • On call 7x24x365 if management escalation is required to respond to facilities concerns and emergencies• Good conduct of the Fire Safety, Physical Security, CCTV and Access Control Policies.• Direct management and leadership of the Data Centre and Facility team Including security personnel.• Developing and carrying out the agreed SOPs needed to effectively operate the Data centre.• Running of the goods received process, including the logging of new assets into the configuration management database.• The knowledge and management of the maintenance schedules for all M&E and DC supporting equipment.• Management of the grounds and outside structures.• Facilitate in all ISO standard audits during the year internally.• Liaise with all external auditors and inspectors as requested by customers. o Identify and resolve any outstanding issues raised during all audits.• Overview of all Information Security policies. • Managing waste disposal and recycling.
