Manage a fleet of 40+ trucks and driver\'s, everything from pit haul trucks, water trucks, double bellies, transport, truck and pup\'s and strong arm trucks. I am responsible for scheduling and dispatching of trucks out to jobs, customers and plants as needed. Our trucks work on all types of construction projects from state jobs, city works jobs, private owners, and heavy highway projects. I maintain all DOT regulated paperwork associated with our drivers and trucks. At one time I was a training driver and was responsible in training and ensuring the competence of new hirers. Weekly I administer a safety toolbox and stress the importance of safety and staying in compliance. I work closely with our drivers in maintaining efficiency and stay on point in vigilant effort to find new ways of stretching efficiency and keeping our costs manageable.
