Through the global pandemic I have had the great privilege of serving as the Commander of the Covid Emergency Operations Centre within the SHA. In this capacity I worked with a fantastic team including senior operational and physician leaders, Safety, HR, Digital Health, Logistics, Physician Services, Medical Health Officer, Liaison, Communications, and Finance. Together we performed contingency planning, preparation, implementation, and monitoring activities to meet Covid demand (testing and assessment, contact tracing and disease control, vaccination campaign, acute and ICU requirements). I also functioned as the SHA Incident Commander within the Government of Saskatchewan Provincial Operations Centre and acted as SHA Covid spokesperson. Recently appointed as Chief Operating Officer for the SHA, I am committed to meeting the health needs of the people of Saskatchewan now and in the future.
