Derek Mether works as a contract Analyst for Hallstone Ventures, where he applies his entertainment industry experience to support the firm\'s growth and strategic vision in a way that directs capital toward innovations that power the future while empowering fellow creators.He is also an accomplished Film and TV writer and producer who wrote the coming-of-age graffiti drama Vandal, which premiered at the Miami Film Festival and is currently available on Amazon Prime, as well as other streaming platforms. The film was nominated for \"Best Broadcast Network or Cable Live-Action TV Movie\" by the Hollywood Critics Association. His previous screenplays have been featured on both the 2014 and 2017 Black List. An alum of CAA and MGM, Derek is represented by Zero Gravity and GGSSC, LLP. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance, with minors in Economics and History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied abroad at Oxford.
