I grew up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and attended University of Saskatchewan where I completed a BComm and competed with the Huskies Track and Cross Country Teams. I moved to Victoria, BC in 2003 to train and compete with the Pacific Sport National Cycling Centre and was selected for the Canadian National Cycling Team for 2 years. I also had the opportunity to represent Canada at several international stage race events in Asia and USA. In 2007 I transitioned from competitive cycling into my career completing my CMA designation over the next 2 years.
