ABOUT DEREK MAN
Derek is an award-winning photographer and designer with 15 years of experience across leading brand agencies in London. Since 2025, he\'s been heading up brand design at Penguin, doing his part for the next chapter of the beloved publisher and cultural icon. He specialises in brand and campaign identities, art direction and, ultimately, solving creative puzzles. Equally at home leading teams and getting stuck into the craft, Derek brings both big ideas and hands-on expertise to every brief. Along the way he\'s branded everything from micro-startups to billion-dollar orgs, covered Ben Whishaw in treacle in the name of theatre and photographed Jeremy Corbyn using an apple for a camera. His personal photographic work have been exhibited internationally and are in the collections of both public and private institutes including Martin Parr Foundation, Canon Japan, Verzasca Festival, Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art, Museum of Liverpool and Open Eye Gallery.
