I was selected as the winner of Season 1 of The Protégé, which is the first ever insurance-based reality show to be produced. The Protégé followed the daily lives of 11 contestants from across the country. The contestants were tasked with completing a weekly challenge to showcase their sales strategies. One contestant was eliminated from the show each week. After 7 challenges, only the top 5 remained. The top 5 were required to use their tools in the real world to sell middle-market commercial insurance for 3 months. At the end of the 3 months, only the three competitors with the most sales would remain.The top 3 competitors were tasked with delivering a live presentation at the Agency Intelligence Brainshare conference in San Antonio, TX. The Protégé was ultimately decided by a public vote. On September 14, 2021, I was crowned as The Protégé by collecting 61.9% of the votes. My victory solidified a spot within the Killing Commercial Insurance Network.
