Investing the first portion of his career in the corporate sector and then branching out to become a partner in a high-tech title company, Derek’s vision helped grow the company from a lean team of 3 to almost 1400 employees within 5 years. Ultimately, the company sold for a very healthy 8 figure sum. Derek’s contribution including his visionary thinking surrounding his ability to find, recruit and connect the best of the best to enhance the team of professionals was the defining difference in the company’s ability to scale and experience a highly profitable sale.An Orange County native, Derek fostered the concept of The 12 from his original 12 Week Fitness Challenges he structured and organized for himself and others. In the early days, these were meant to keep himself and his friends on track with their health and wellness goals.
