About Derek Daniels
I am a Finance graduate from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. After graduating in May of 2022, I am now searching for a full-time position in Real Estate/Finance to begin my career. While in University, I followed my curiosity and delved into the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency field. I took action and co-founded the first university-sanctioned and fully student-run digital asset fund in the nation. I am a positive and high-energy individual bringing an ambitious and resilient attitude, a genuine willingness to learn, and a fierce passion for high achievement. I will ensure that my presence will make my future company more successful in every conceivable metric through pushing myself out of my comfort zone and never settling for mediocre results. My work with MUBC and co-founding the Redhawk Digital Asset Fund taught me valuable lessons and provided me with the tools to help my future company succeed such as organizational skills, time management, and distilling complex information into digestible insights. My Finance and Sales internship at Rolston Hogstrom honed my hard skills such as using Excel and taught me how to sell ideas and products. I developed the invaluable soft-skills necessary to develop connections with peers and superiors alike through my job as a caddy. My personal interests include fitness, martial arts, entrepreneurship, real estate, and blockchain.
