Foster relationships between BNSF, its scheduled employees and their collective bargaining representatives. Direct responsibility for collective bargaining agreements covering the IAM, BRC, IBEW, IBB, NCFO, SMART-Mechanical, ATDA, and TCU. Create, audit, implement, and sustain positive workplace relations programs. Design and conduct employee relations training. Negotiate, draft, interpret, and administer collective bargaining agreements, and provide guidance and education regarding the application of agreements. Work directly with executive leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Respond to Union grievances and handle disputes through the arbitration process.
