   Directing labor relations efforts for the largest Engineering Association in North America representing over 500 member firms signatory to CBAs with the Laborers, Operating Engineers, Cement Masons, Carpenters, Pile Drivers, Ironworkers, and Teamsters covering approximately employees, 30+ million man hours, and over $30 billion dollars of work.Labor Relations - Frontline labor relations advocacy for UCON member firms including contract interpretation, dispute resolution, risk assessment & management, public works support and advocacy, PLA support, federal and state compliance, mediation of conflicts with Union partners, industry events with Labor Unions, and representation with various trusts and interests on behalf of management.Collective Bargaining - Serve as a primary UCON rep on 20+ CBAs for Union engineering and specialty contractors. Work with Union partners to generate organizing and industry agreements to advance the interests of Union contractors and their Union employees. Association Management - Lead Labor Member Services department in responding to the daily needs of member firms. Manage internal committees, trust positions, and industry leadership roles for UCON and support efforts of management leaders. Promote industry partnering and collaboration. Set long-term strategic goals and values.Industry Partnering - Strategic partnering with Labor Unions to advance the efforts of Union employers in the state of California. Long term strategy to maintain and expand market share of engineering and specialty contractors while mitigating market loss and risks. Focus on promoting harmonious and productive labor-management relationship to the benefit of both parties.Industry Promotion - Promote UCON member interests and Union partner interests at the local, state, and federal level to improve the position and long-term viability of the Union employer and their Union partners.
