ABOUT DERECK PILON FLEURENT
I’m a senior Technical Artist at 2k. I graduated in 2016 with a bachelor\'s degree with a major in 3D creation and a minor in visual effects for film and television at the University of Quebec in Abitibi- Témiscamingue at the Montreal pavilion.I specialize in creating artist tools, document creation, artist technical training, troubleshooting errors in 3d, 2d, animation and the pipeline in general. I have worked in the last few years in video games industry, for a 3D animation film, for 3D animated television series. I worked with software such as Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, Photoshop, Softimage, on versioning software such as Perforce and Sourcetree (bitbucket). I have done documentation on wiki and confluence. The qualities that best describe me are persistence, curiosity, creativity, openness, listening, cooperation and respect for others. I like to take on new challenges and I succeed in stressful situations and I like to follow the news on new technologies.
