   Complete color tests on plastic products* Perform pressure rise test to check for proper pigment dispersion* Operate film line to make film that is utilized in color matching for plastic bags* Test various material formulations to assess quality of color matching through use ofsmall lab extruder* Operate pelletizer that chops the extruded plastic into small pellets List Job duties here Training - Train operators in all aspects of job including equipment, ISO procedures,work schedule, and safety, Proper communication between co-workers. Safety - Enforce all safety rules are followed and violations are recorded. Quality – Check all products being extruded for quality. If problems develop communicatewith operator and lab to correct problem. WASTEWATER TREATMENT: Also take water meter readings, clean and calibrate pH meter equipment. Clean Responsible for making flow adjustments, mixing polymers and changing chemical feed aeration screens. Accurately complete daily log forms. In addition operator is responsible for monitoring and running the In-channel, filter press moyno pumps and the DAF, FEB and company\'s pond level; Dump sludge hoppers and monitor sludge tank levels. Troubleshoot problems and make adjustments to stay in compliance with limitation issued by HRSD- Gathering and sending samples to the Environmental ProtectioAgency (EPA) for testing- Conferring with management regarding project status updates- Tracking material and equipment used, as required for projects- Attending meetings and required training as needed, and performing other duties appropriate to the assignment- Keeping detailed records, updating logs, documenting all test results, and preparing reports- Ensuring the operation of the wastewater treatment plants are in compliance with all State and Federal health standards- Planning and scheduling the maintenance or repair of a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment used in the process of treatment.
