I am currently working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist at Gandhi Hospital, specializing in both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. My role involves conducting newborn hearing screenings using Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) to identify potential hearing loss at an early stage. For older children and adults, I perform Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) and Impedance Audiometry to assess hearing thresholds and middle ear function.Additionally, I conduct Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)/Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA) testing for infants and difficult-to-test populations, ensuring accurate diagnosis of auditory pathway integrity. My work extends to rehabilitation, where I provide Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) for children with hearing impairments, focusing on speech and language development through auditory training.My experience at Gandhi Hospital has strengthened my clinical expertise in audiological assessments and intervention, enabling me to contribute to early hearing detection and intervention (EHDI) programs while working closely with multidisciplinary teams
