Responsible for managing airport operations, including maintenance, safety, public services and administration• Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned activities• Coordinate and participate in airfield and facility inspections• Supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for providing Airport operations• Maintain, update and publish various manuals, schedules, tables and systems including the Airport Certification Manual, FAA Table Top Exercise, Triennial Disaster Drill, Aviation Security (AVSEC) Training Exercise, security manuals, monthly airline schedules, quarterly/annual Airport management schedule, and/or other applicable materials; coordinate the maintenance of the Airport\'s security program including SIDA training and access card control• Select, train, motivate and evaluate airport personnel• Provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures • Prepare and manage the Airport Operating Budget and Capital Budgets; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures• Secure Federal and State grant funding for Capital Improvement Projects• Coordinate and implement safety and regulatory compliance with FAA, TSA, NCDOT and tenants• Assist with the interpretation of regulations, policies and procedures; verify compliance• Act as spokesperson for the Airport as required and performing necessary duties in the Airport Director\'s absence• Respond to incidents on an on-call basis and under emergency conditions• Assist in the snow and ice removal operations and activities; coordinate Airport closure activities• Schedule and coordinate motor vehicle repair with the Fleet Maintenance Department
