As a data management associate at Deloitte, I apply my data science skills and knowledge to support the data management unit for the USAID Tujenge Jamii project, which aims to enhance the resilience and social cohesion of communities in Kenya. I work with a team of Software engineers and analysts to collect, clean, transform, and store large and complex datasets from various sources, using Apache Airflow, Python, SQL, and Hadoop. I am passionate about using data to solve real-world problems and create value for businesses and society. I have a certification in data science from ExploreAI Academy, where I learned and practiced advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems. I also have a bachelor\'s degree in economics and statistics from Laikipia University, which gave me a solid foundation in quantitative analysis and research methods. I have proven experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions for different domains and industries, such as marketing, credit, and e-commerce. Some of my achievements include increasing customer conversion and retention rates, improving credit risk assessments and scoring, and enhancing recommendation accuracy. I am proficient in Python, SQL, and big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques, and to collaborate with other data professionals and stakeholders.
