2013 – Current – Fresenius Kidney Care – Nashville, TN – Regional Technical Operations Manager. With a Technical Support team of 12 Area Technical Operations Managers and 45 Biomedical Technicians, provides leadership, guidance and direction regarding all technical support services to 73 outpatient dialysis centers, 22 inpatient units and 16 home therapy programs within the Tennessee Valley region, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service to customers / facilities. Ensure all decisions, actions and activities of the Technical Department are compliant with company standard operation procedures and with all pertinent local, state and federal regulatory requirements. Manage the maintenance and repair of all water treatment and medical equipment as well as all mechanical / electrical system to ensure the safety of patients as well of staff operating the equipment. Oversee the regulatory compliance functions. Ensure that suitable measures are taken to maintain facilities appropriately, and that the design and construction of new and renovated facilities meet established technical requirements.
