About Dennis I. Clary
Economic growth does not always equal social change. With many focused on the former, I find fulfillment in focusing my efforts on the latter. I believe in connecting, mobilizing and collaborating with people so that economic performance may become social progress. This is my “Why.” So, what does that mean? A glance at some of my volunteer and professional endeavors over the past decade illustrates this common theme:• Leading a company’s statewide corporate social responsibility programs • Advocating for inclusion of diversity in corporations & community • Inspiring an organization of young professionals to campaign for change • Mobilizing a group of people to further the mission of ending blood cancersSimply put, my “Why” shapes what I do.How do I go about this? I’m a different kind of cat, a bit of an avant-garde. I value those that embrace all differences to advance the purpose of a team. To complement the talents of others, I strive to become more of who I am. My unique expertise is a leadership style that balances an analytical mindset with an incredible flair for communication. I do this on a foundation of emotional intelligence.
