I head up the Church Relations department at City Union Mission. I work with churches and other organizations in partnering with the Mission. I spend time speaking before groups about what God is doing to change the lives of the poor and the homeless here in the community.I truly believe it is an honor to be serving the homeless and be able to be a small part of what God has in store in the lives of others by serving here at the City Union Mission. ABOUT DENNIS ELLIS
Glad you stopped by to look at my profile. I hope after reading this you have better feel for who I am, what I\'ve done and this is just a taste of my life. I was employed with the Sherwin-Williams Paint Co. for just over 26 years and enjoyed all of the positions I had while there. The most enjoyable positions were the last couple that I had for just over 14 years of the 26 years. I was in involved in product development, trade shows, training session and seminars. I traveled an over all territory of 18 States and there was a lot of beautiful country out there to see and lots of awesome people that I met. I now am serving with the City Union Mission and feel this is an answer to a long time desire He placed on my heart to serve Him and making a difference in the lives of the homeless here in Kansas City. I spend most of my time reaching out to the faith based community to engage them in being involved with the Mission. I spend time in the community and speaking for groups and functions. I have been married for almost 30 years to Terri. We have two daughters and six grand kids! I love them all and enjoy spending time with them. They bring great joy and completion to my life. I have spent time traveling to Albania on short term trips since 1998 aiding CRU in outreach projects in the mountain villages,towns and cities. Hoping one day on making a 17th trip there some day! The time spent in Albania is one of those life opportunities that are priceless.
