ABOUT DENNIS EICHWALD

Since 2007 I have been working at MKRG, since July 2013 as a partner of the firm. A main focus of my work is corporate law and giving - including insolvency-related - advice to incorporated companies and partnerships, their shareholders and directors. In particular, I assist in the foundation of subsidiaries by foreign companies from the scratch including the customized drafting of the subsidiary\'s statutes and in commercial register law issues of all kinds. I have substantial experience in transformation law and in mergers and acquisitions of any kind. I am also active in commercial law, e.g. in commercial agent and authorized dealer law or in creating General Terms and Conditions which are especially important for foreign entrepreneurs when entering the German or European market. My knowledge is completed by my interest in finance and capital markets law, knowledge of which is particularly essential in the area of shareholder and transaction financing as well as in tax law. Another major focus of mine is information technology law (IT law), in particular IT contract law, data protection law and e-commerce. I have successfully passed the specialist lawyer training course \"Information Technology Law\" in 2009. I advise clients from Germany and abroad in all (group companies related) data protection issues, particularly in cross-border situations, and in connection with specific statutory data protection rules such as in the health care sector. I comprehensively advise clients at the conclusion of software contracts of any kind. I have legally comprehensively accompanied the launch of several online marketing systems and trading platforms, e.g.\"crowdfunding\" and textile industry platforms. I also advise on online marketing activities and any resulting issues related to competition law.
