   The Trauma Survivors Foundation (TSF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in Delaware that seeks to improve the lives of children, families and emergency services personnel who have experienced a traumatic event by providing mental health services through a network of trained trauma therapists.My mission as President of The Trauma Survivors Foundation is to raise awareness of the benefits trauma counseling provides. I believe that there is life after trauma and that, with help, people can move past the pain and truly live again. Having worked for years as a licensed counselor specializing in traumatic stress, I have witnessed, first-hand, the difference therapy can make for someone who has lived through tragedy. I also want to ensure that the trauma therapy and crisis intervention fields continue to grow and evolve. I established The Trauma Survivors Foundation to help those who have witnessed or experienced tragic events by offering them counseling sessions with trauma therapists. In addition to providing these services, TSF also offers:• Training and educating students and first responders in trauma therapy and crisis intervention• Scholarships to high school and college seniors seeking careers in mental health services• Financial supporting firefighters, police, and EMS so they may attend training classesFor more information, please contact me directly.
