I am excited about what the future holds as I continue my career with Olin and look forward to the challenges and growth opportunities ahead.For the last 6 years I was the Instrument Manufacturing Representative on world-scale membrane chlorine plant built in Freeport, Tx. I was involved in all phases of the project, from front-end loading through commissioning and startup. I was responsible for ensuring that all instruments were properly sized, selected, installed, and commissioned.Currently I am the Instrument Subject Matter Expert for the Chlor-Vinyl Technology Center where I provide global instrumentation support for the business. I am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the Global Pressure Technology Resource Network, Instrument SIS Technology Resource Network, and am the Instrument Discipline Activity Specialist for Dow\'s Freeport and Texas City sites. Chlor-Vinyl Technology Center Global Instrument SME (Subject Matter Expert)- Provide global instrumentation support for the Chlor-Vinyl business around the globe. Work closely with other Technology Center SMEs, Run Plant Engineers, Operations, and Maintenance personnel to resolve instrument related issues. This involves advanced troubleshooting, sizing and selection of instrumentation, providing input on proper instrument materials of construction, participating in root cause investigations and reviewing MOC (Management of Change) requests for modifications and new installations. Provide instrument training for new engineers. Develop and document MET (Most Effective Technology) for instrumentation installation methods and measurement technologies for the Chlor-Alkali processes. Provide innovative solutions that improve plant safety, reliability and increase production capabilities.
