Duties are mostly centered around helping to map out current and prospective students academic and even professional journeys here at CIIS. This is done via one-on-one counseling sessions, outreach events, workshops, college tours/events and of course email campaigns. I am personally responsible for the advising of three programs here: the Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness program (PCC), which can give a master\'s or a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion. The Ecology, Spirituality and Religion program (ESR), which can also give a master\'s or a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion. And the Anthropology & Social Change program (ANTH), which can also give a master\'s or a doctoral degree. In addition, counselors also diligently work on the Slate CRM platform to thoroughly go over applications, create and edit events and reach out to prospective students. Lastly, creating and leading presentations about the university’s programs, history and evolution are tasks that are expected of all counselors.
