I’m a seasoned banking and operations leader with nearly 30 years of experience driving strategic initiatives, risk management, and operational excellence across the financial services industry. Currently, I serve as Chief of Staff to the Bank Chief Operations Officer at USAA, where I lead a dynamic team supporting executive leadership through strategic planning, business goal alignment, and employee engagement.Since joining USAA in 2020, I’ve held key roles in risk and control functions, including leading the Retail Bank QC – Control Testing Center of Excellence and contributing to the Bank Central Risk Team. My focus has consistently been on strengthening governance, enhancing control effectiveness, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Prior to USAA, I spent nearly 25 years at PNC Bank, where I held leadership roles across consumer and retail lending operations, project and product management, and change management. I played a pivotal role in building out enterprise testing services within the first line of defense.I’m a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and registered Scrum Master, passionate about building strong teams, managing change, and delivering results. My leadership is grounded in service, shaped by six years in the U.S. Navy, including time aboard the USS John F.
