Dennis Peck is the joint Deputy Senior Clerk at 4 New Square. Dennis started his clerking career in 1991 at Enterprise Chambers - The Chambers of Anthony Mann QC (now Mr. Justice Mann), before joining 4 New Square in Having worked at 4 New Square ever since, Dennis has a great understanding of each member of chambers specialist practice areas as well as extensive knowledge of the previous cases they have been instructed on. Currently working alongside senior clerk Lizzy Stewart, Dennis has a very hands on role with 4 New Square’s business development and focuses on managing our client relationships both domestically and internationally.Dennis currently heads a team that has day-to day responsibility for several of Chambers silks and senior juniors, and deals with their diary management, work distribution, putting counsel teams together, fee negotiation and general practice development in all of Chambers key areas; Commercial Dispute Resolution, Construction, Disciplinary, Financial Services, Insurance, International Arbitration, Offshore, Professional Liability & Sports Law.Members of 4 New Square are frequently acting for clients in different jurisdictions around the world and given Chambers international practice, Dennis along with the others from the clerking team have visited several clients overseas including Boston, BVI, Cayman Islands, Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Montreal, Paris, Qatar, Singapore, Washington and Vienna.Dennis also co-ordinates the Sports Law team in Chambers, which specializes in disciplinary law and commercial sporting disputes. Collectively, the sports team have worked on claims covering almost every sport imaginable, in most cases acting as counsel, but also acting as sole arbitrators or on arbitration panels in the UK as well as overseas.
