About Dennis Obrien
I lead commercialization in obesity and cardiometabolic disease across traditional pharma and emerging digital health models. My experience spans market access, HCP and payer marketing, employer strategy, and go-to-market planning — all with a focus on making innovative therapies accessible, scalable, and financially sustainable.Over the past 10+ years, I’ve helped shape and launch major brands, including playing a leadership role in the commercialization and employer strategy for GLP-1 obesity treatments. The landscape is shifting quickly, and I’ve had a direct role in how employers, PBMs, payers, clinicians, and patients are reshaping expectations around affordability, evidence, and care delivery.I’m at my best when connecting strategy to execution. I simplify complex market dynamics into clear commercialization paths and build frameworks teams can operationalize. I focus on anticipating challenges early, ensuring payer, employer, and provider needs are aligned well before launch, and building repeatable models that scale.Ultimately, I’m motivated by improving how people living with chronic disease receive care, and doing it in a way that benefits patients, health systems, and the businesses responsible for delivering innovation.
