Dennis holds a PhD in particle physics from RWTH Aachen University. In 2019, his data analytics team received a recognition for a \"world changing idea\" for improving rail operations by the business magazine Fast Company.Dennis currently leads an Innovation team of 13 highly motivated employees that were honored with two Siemens Mobility North America Awards: in 2021 for developing a rail asset management application and in 2024 for implementing the Siemens Xcelerator Integrated Data & Communications System (IDCS) for Los Angeles Metro.
