ABOUT DENNIS KERSTETTER
Masters Degree, CSCS Certified, USAW-L1Primary goal as a Strength and Conditioning Coach - create the strongest, fastest, explosive, and most well rounded athletes with a high priority of safety I utilize my background in weightlifting and powerlifting techniques to increase the abilities of the athlete. The movements involved in these disciplines enforce the need for a strong core and the ability to move a bar fast, both of which lead toa strong, fast, explosive athlete. A strong core aids an athlete in and out of the weight room. In the weight room it helps to keep the athlete braced and in the proper position to perform many movements and in competition it provides a center for the athlete to be able to absorb external forces and distribute them properly to avoid injury. Moving the bar fast is directly related to the explosive power that an athlete possesses which aids in the overall speed of the athlete as well. I attempt to create not only great athletes but also great people! I wish for every athlete I work with to take the work ethic, determination, accountability and commitment to excellence, that they learn and reinforce in the weight room, into the remainder of their lives. These values will aid any and every student-athlete no matter what field they may find themselves in the future. It is my goal to createan experience that helps to solidify these values into each athlete.
