As Credit Specialist, I perform advanced financial examination work, by coordinating the review and evaluation of fiscal, corporate and operational records to determine financial condition, level(s) of internal control, and compliance with statutory requirements. I provide direction to my colleagues, over the individual and portfolio-wide assessment of Asset Quality, appropriate risk-rating classifications and methodologies, throughout our Bank Target/Review. More specifically my duties include:I Confer with organizational management to resolve problems and deviations from required and permissible standards and procedures.I prepare and submit component assessments which are inclusive in reports of financial examinations that include evaluations and recommendations for regulatory or judicial actions as required.

ABOUT DENNIS GALLAGHER
A 27 year chicagoland banker, 15 year federal regulator and a 2019 graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s Executive Leadership Program as well as its Graduate School of Banking (2015). I have independently analyzed, originated, documented, syndicated, serviced and modified (when applicable) billions of corporate, commercial & consumer transactions. In furtherance my responsibilities have concentrated on the compilation and review of complex CRE & C&I activities/solutions. I have prepared and interpreted analyses for monitoring assets (i.e. PD & LGD ratings) that entailed analyzing financial statements, appraisals, net present value calculations, problem loans, and other monitoring activities, both within the FDIC and my private sector career. My banking clients have ranged from private developers to publicly traded REIT’s. Debt products to which I have gained an expertise level include: construction, historic tax credits, mezzanine, mini-perm, CMBS, structurally subordinate notes, senior unsecured revolvers, as well as equity & bond issuances. Product types include apartment, industrial, office, retail, senior housing, student housing & for-sale products. For the clients and products mentioned above, my responsibilities have spanned from new business development to workouts. Additional responsibilities include construction & portfolio management, credit analysis, appraisal reviews, environmental reviews, covenant compliance & periodic quarterly/annual reviews. My post-banking experiences have included, a myriad of positions within the FDIC.
