About Dennis Fisher

I am a journalist with 30 years of experience, 25 of which I\'ve spent covering the cybersecurity industry from a variety of angles and positions. I was one of the founders of Threatpost, the groundbreaking brand journalism project that proved independent journalism could not only exist but thrive in the cybersecurity industry. At its peak, Threatpost attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors per month and served as the de facto source of record for cybersecurity news and features. I later co-founded Decipher, a unique, award-winning independent cybersecurity editorial platform from Duo Security that set the standard for unbiased, level-headed coverage of the industry. Decipher became the model for many other projects at other vendors that followed and was often cited as an authoritative source in academic papers, government reports, and elsewhere. I have hosted podcasts for more than 15 years and have spoken at many industry conferences, including RSA Conference, Black Hat, BSides, Gartner Security, SAS, SecTor, and many others. I\'ve written two crime novels, Motherless Children and Be Gone, and am currently writing my third. I am also a highly experienced freelance writer and am open to work on a project or retainer basis.
