About Dennis Donaldson
I was employed in the financial services field for almost 26 years (3 of them part-time while in college). In order to develop a strong background in the area of customer relations, I had to be willing to readily accept the challenges associated with being a customer service provider. My progression in this field was achieved through hard work and being able to convert those challenges into sound, successful experiences. My transition from bank finance, to local government planning & development, and local government finance, has been a positive experience. I have benefitted from, and will continue to grow through, the customer service and management skills that I acquired in my previous banking career and my role as a local government officer. There will always be diverse personalities and various challenges, associated with my duties, but I must be able to recognize and adapt to all of them. Maintaining these skills allows me to utilize the resources available to me, in a manner that helps meet common objectives, to serve the communities in which I work.
