Prepare required export documentation for effective sales and export of Granular Urea and ensure compliance with importing country’s standards.• Appoint customers and issue procedure for submission of bid for the purchase of Granular urea.• Engage third party surveyors for product inspection; pre, during and post loading.• Follow up with buyers for the nomination of vessel (FOB) within the agreed LAYCAN period.• Follow up with the Logistics/ Transport team to ensure that product is sent to Quays/ Jetty for vessel loading.• Receive Letter of Credit from the off-shore bank and confirm with the Advising Bank• Receive Original Bills of Lading from the Vessel Master and sent with other required shipping documents to the buyer as per Sales Contract.• Co-ordinate with Shipping and Freight Forwarding Agents to:a) Obtain necessary berthing clearance; b) Supervise loading of the bulk cargo (Urea) into the holds/hatches of the vessel at the Export Terminal of the Dangote Quays, Lekki, Lagos.c) Engage with Stevedoring contractors to provide required machine and labour.d) Prepare Statement of Facts (SOF) which shall form the basis of calculating laytime for settlement of Demurrage/Despatch.Secure customs clearance, Prepare final shipping documents and secure vessel’s sailing clearance.
