Understanding the challenges our customers, employees and partners face is key to helping address them. As the Chief Innovation Officer at ArcBest, this is what drives me. I stay focused on digging into their obstacles and leading our team to develop innovative solutions that keep their supply chains moving. It all begins with listening with a “we’ll find a way” mindset and then utilizing the latest technology and resources to help achieve their goals and objectives. My approach to innovation emphasizes continuous improvement and a customer-centric philosophy, ensuring that ArcBest remains agile and responsive to customer demands and market changes. We’re constantly exploring new ways to create efficiencies by leveraging our capabilities and expanding our service offerings. This involves empowering people with technology to improve customer and employee experiences while driving excellent business outcomes. ArcBest is where we are today through organic growth, smart strategic acquisitions, visionary leadership and a forward-thinking mindset. With over 20 years of logistics experience, and having held C-level leadership roles in strategy, customer-related functions, communications, and now technology and innovation, I have worked closely with the rest of our executive leadership on the transformation at ArcBest over the past decade. This includes having a leadership role in every acquisition and divestiture at ArcBest during the past decade. In 2017, I was involved in the restructuring of ArcBest into an integrated logistics company with a full suite of shipping and logistics solutions. This transformation around customer needs has driven our success as a multibillion-dollar logistics leader.
