ABOUT DENNIE KIM

I am an Assistant Professor of Strategy, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship at the Darden School of Business. My research examines the dynamics and performance of social networks, applications of blockchain technology, and the impact of artificial intelligence on business and society. I am passionate about the potential for technology to catalyze new and different business models, and strongly believe that business can be an engine for positive social change. My current work explores three primary areas:(1) decentralization as an organizing principle for businesses,(2) the role of blockchain in enhancing the development of artificial intelligence, and (3) using network science to improve healthcare delivery. I teach MBA and Executive level courses on strategic analysis, blockchain/cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence. I am an experienced consultant and project manager, and regularly engage with leaders in healthcare and tech in both public and private sectors.
