ABOUT DENIZ INCE

I am a Materials and Process Engineer specialising in aerospace manufacturing and materials qualification under ECSS standards. A hands-on engineer by nature, I focus on test design, verification and characterisation of metallic and composite systems to ensure reliability in harsh space environments. At the European Space Agency’s Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory, I screen and qualify new materials and processing techniques for space applications. I also verify and analyse electronic assemblies, reproducing in-orbit conditions to explain failure mechanisms and support manufacturability and qualification decisions. Using a range of advanced material characterisation and testing methods, I evaluate performance, validate processes and translate findings into practical improvements for design and manufacturing.Previously, I worked at Airbus APWorks and Alloyed Ltd, developing and qualifying material processing and post-processing techniques for fatigue-critical aerospace components. Adept at turning complex test data into predictive insights that enhance performance and reliability, I am driven to transform research expertise into impactful industrial solutions and contribute to next-generation aerospace manufacturing and propulsion technologies.
