I am an experienced and results-driven engineering leader in the automotive industry, with a strong track record across class-leading OEMs. Throughout my career, I have held responsibility for the development, delivery, launch, quality, warranty, safety, and compliance of HV/LV batteries, internal combustion engines and electrified powertrain systems.I am currently the Senior Engineering Manager in JLR Energy Storage platform, responsible for Quality and Warranty performance and safety & compliance topics on HV and LV batteries, leading a team of 34 highly qualified engineers. Proven experience and skills including- Current Quality / Warranty- Product Safety and Compliance on HV / LV Battery- Problem solving for Quality / Warranty projects- Warranty recovery and technical liability for warranty issues- Servant leadership to manage obstacles for empowered teams- Communicating and presenting high priority technical topics at board of directors level- Forward model quality and Prevent Reoccurrence- Design development based on programme targets and boundary conditions with evidence based design integrity- Delivery of components in prototype and production phases in collaboration with the suppliers aligned to defined cost, weight and functional targets- Collaborating with team members and engaging interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate the team in the delivery of a shared vision and common goal.
