ABOUT DENISSE PASCO
Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am excited to bring my skills and passion to the aerospace industry, with a particular focus on composite manufacturing. My main interests include aerospace sustainability, spacecraft design, and next-generation manufacturing methods. This summer, I worked on my research project, “Electric Curing in Aerospace Composite Manufacturing”. Results revealed an opportunity to optimise my proposed methods for better temperature control and scalability, contributing to more sustainable and accessible composite manufacturing techniques in aerospace. I have carried on this research with my Final Year Project “Sustainable Curing Techniques for Aerospace Composite Materials”. As a Liquid Rocket Engineer for Project Sunride, I participated in the development of the SunFire engine, gaining experience in advanced techniques such as regenerative cooling and additive manufacturing. This year, I have been supervising the design of a copper engine and a smaller 1kN engine (Sunfire IV). With Odyssey, I have also been involved in developing reusable rocket prototypes, which includes designing and testing a fully reusable solid rocket with Thrust-Vector Control for stage recovery. Additionally, I completed the Student Aerospace Challenge, where I designed sustainable spacecraft for Low Earth Orbit service, in cooperation with ArianeGroup, Dassault Aviation, and the European Space Agency. I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and am now taking Mandarin lessons. If you want to connect, collaborate, or discuss aerospace engineering, feel free to reach out!
