Instrumentation FEED including: – Review of FEEP (Front End Engineering Package) – Selection, specification, evaluation of long delivery items e.g. Valves, Severe Service Control Valves, DCS/ESD systems, Analysers Packages, Instrumentation for Mechanical & Process Packages etc. – Preparation of preliminary Instrument Index / Database base on FEEP P & ID’s. – Preliminary Bulk MTO and construction scope of work. – Instrumentation Detail Design including: – Review of P & ID’s, provide inputs to P & ID and comments on P & ID IDC. – Preparation and Checking of Engineering documents like Instrument Summary / Index / I/O Database, Junction Box and Cable Schedule, Instrument Air Tube Schedule, Functional Schematic, Loop Diagram, etc. – Preparation and Checking of Enquiry Specification, Technical Bid Analysis and Purchase Specification. – Checking of Instrument Location and Cable Tray Layouts. – Preparation and Checking Instrument calculations – Control valves, Orifice plates, Safety Relief Valves. – Checking of vendor’s sizing calculation for Flowmeters, Valves, Flow elements, Safety Valves. – Preparation of E&I Interface document. – Participate DCS & ESD system FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). – Preparation and Checking of Control Room Layout. – Preparation and Checking of Process and Pneumatic Hook-ups. – Preparation of Installation document. – Preparation of Bulk MTO and Installation Tender. – Vendor Drawing Review – Participate in FAT of Mechanical Packages, Testing of Package PLC with DCS as a part of package FAT. – Assistance to Lead and co-ordination with Client for smooth execution of projects – Resolution of site queries. – Participate in Hazop, SIL study (SIL Study by external agency), Implementation of SIL and review of SIL verification reports (generated by others) – Familiarise with International Codes and Standards for Instrumentation Engineering such as ISA, IEC, ANSI / ASME, API, NACE, BS, EN, ISO, Shell DEP etc.
