About Denise Latarowski
Entrepreneurial Product, Business, and Technology leader with 10+ years of tech experience and proven track record of delivering innovative B2B and B2C customer-centric products and services in both startup and tech giant environments. Expertise in tech marketplace dynamics. Experience hiring, developing, and leading high-performing cross-functional teams, across multiple geographies. Expertise implementing and managing frameworks and mechanisms.I started my tech career as a Product Manager at Amazon, where I led 3 different product spaces within 6+ years. My first experience was in Vendor Systems, where I owned the international expansion of Vendor Express, the first self-service program for vendors to do business with Amazon. In this role, my focus was on driving B2B innovation from scratch. My next experience was leading Product for Amazon Wishlist. In this role, my focus was on driving B2C innovation within a very mature product. Finally, I led Setup Experience for Connected Devices. In this role, I moved away from Retail to focus on devices user experience. During my time at Amazon, I owned both entirely new products, and products that were used by tens of millions of customers and drove multi-billion dollars in annual revenue.I then joined the executive team of Bluecrew, a tech marketplace startup that connects workplaces with hourly workers, enabling workers to reach economic stability and improve their quality of life, while enabling workplaces to easily recruit and manage their high quality flexible workforce. As the Product Executive leading the Worker Experience, I defined the product vision and the team structure, and hired, led and developed a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Product Designers and Data Scientists. I was promoted from Director to VP and was part of the 5-member executive team that defined the overall company vision and strategy, and executed turnaround leading to ~400% revenue growth,~4x valuation growth and acquisition by Employbridge, the largest light industrial staffing company in the US. At Employbridge, I drove vision setting for the company\'s digital transformation. I led the Product organization for the Worker Experience across the combined company and Product Data Science for both sides of the marketplace.
